About Burst Download
Burst Download is a multi-threaded download manager and video downloader for Windows and Linux. It accelerates downloads by splitting files into chunks and pulling them with 1–8 parallel connections, so large files finish faster than a single-connection downloader can manage. It also downloads videos from Bilibili, YouTube and other popular sites with a single command.
The project is built with C/C++ and libcurl, and ships as single-file release builds for Windows x86_64, Linux x86_64 and Linux ARM64, with both a command-line interface and a graphical interface.
Burst Download is free to use. It is an independent, community-driven project — there are no accounts, no ads and no tracking. If you find it useful, the best way to support it is by reporting bugs, suggesting features, sharing it with others, or making a donation on the donation page.
The source code, releases and issue tracker live on GitHub. Bug reports and feature requests are welcome through GitHub Issues.
